    Sometimes openfire not working on server

    Marin

      I install openfire new wersion 4.0.3 but sometimes not working correctly. Problem is when client back on job, and turn on computer sometimes he not sign up on domain server. Then again restarting openfire and then working... I do not know what happen that suddenly does not work, but opnfire is launched. Why is this happening?

      And for new version spark installed on computer 2.8.0, i have issuse wrong username and password. When I disabled "Certificate chain checking" there were no problems with the connects.

          I had the same problem with authentication in version 2.8.1.

          The two things I've done to solve this are:

          • Use the server name (Server Manager> Server Information> Server Properties) in the Domain field in Spark.
          • Add the following system property:

                    Property Name: sasl.mechs

                    Property Value: PLAIN

                  Are you using the OpenLDAP or the Windows server's one?

                  check if your LDAP filter is sorting all users in your AD.

                  I'm using this filter, it only allows users that are members of the group "Spark"

                  (&(objectclass=organizationalPerson)(|(memberOf:1.2.840.113556.1.4.1941:=CN=Spar k,CN=Users,DC=subdomain,DC=domain,DC=br)))

                      I'm using Windows server 2003

                      And my LDAP BaseDN is this: OU=Usersname,DC=subdomain,DC=domain,DC=root,comt etc.

                      You think when i add CN Spark then i must put users on Spark name? And how you think check my LDAP filter? I do not understand much about LDAP so if someone can be a little more explanation or show, and I'm really grateful for your reply
